General Usage Conditions

The following are the general conditions that regulate access to the Owner’s page, both the services and the functionalities offered there, notwithstanding the application of other different conditions or their modification. We recommend periodically reading and reviewing them, as there may be modifications to the legal texts.

  1. User Status and Acceptance of These Conditions

Accessing and using the  https://gmv-biblos.gmv.com/ website (hereinafter, “the Website”), owned by GMV, make you a site User and imply acceptance of these General Usage Conditions subscribed by the Owner. A User is any physical or legal person who accesses, browses, uses, or participates in the services and activities, free or paid, undertaken on the Website.

  1. Purpose of the Website

The purpose of this Website is to offer the possibility to download BIBLOS SW, distributed under ESA SPACE COMMUNITY LICENSE -V2.4 PERMISSIVE. Downloading BIBLOS SW you are agreeing to be bound by the term and conditions applied for it.  

Website provide download software and documents from BIBLOS project after registration and confirmation by BIBLOS team.

  1. User obligations

As a User by merely accessing and browsing on the website, you must:

  1. Use the Website diligently, correctly and licitly, always respecting current legislation, morality and good customs, as well as public order.
  2. Periodically review these Conditions, or any others that may apply, checking for modifications that could occur.
  3. Review the communications sent by GMV, as they may contain important information.
  4. Not use the Website for commercial purposes, especially to collect information or content to provide services that clearly constitute competition for GMV.
  5. Not modify or attempt to modify in any way, nor take actions or use resources aimed at simulating the appearance or functions of the Website.
  6. Not damage, disable, overload or hinder the service (or the network or networks connected to the service, or interfere in their use and enjoyment.
  7. Refrain from taking any action that involves introducing computer viruses, worms, trojans or any other type of malware that is designed to interrupt, destroy or limit the functionalities of the Website.
  8. Not use reverse engineering techniques and/or decipher, decompile or use any other system designed to discover the GMV source code in the website.
  9. In any case, do not take any action that can violate the rights and interests of the Owner or third parties, including, but not limited to, intellectual or industrial property rights (patents, brands, copyright, commercial secrets, etc.).
  10. Specific Conditions of Registration on BIBLOS Website

These Specific Conditions of Registration are subscribed, on the one hand, by GMV and, on the other, by any Users who have completed the corresponding form to create an account on the Biblos Website and the steps indicated on the Website designed to complete the registration, along with acceptance of these Specific Conditions.

To create an account on the Biblos website, the User must be a physical person of legal age in compliance with European legislation.

The users can contact to BIBLOS team using three different contact form.

Contacts forms

The non register users can only access to form “Contact website” where can ask about website if example something not working on website.

Registered users after login in have two additional contact form:

  • Contact with generic contact with BIBLOS team
  • Software Problem Report with form to report software problem report. Is required to provide the following fields: Name & Surname, email, subject, description, Affected Item (Class, File, Inputs/Outputs, etc.), environment description, Cause and Proposed Solution.

All information’s from contact form are stored in unencrypted database and not have backup policy. Only password of users are stored in encrypted form used MD5 algorithm. All mails from contact form are forward to [email protected] mail administrate by IT.

User registration

The user registration is using registration form in website.

The user must add data in field:

  • Username,
  • First Name,
  • Last Name,
  • Email (only University, Institution or Company email),
  • Confirm Email,
  • Contact phone,
  • Country, University,
  • Institution or Company,
  • Legal ID number (e.g VAT number) of Company, Institution or University,
  • Number,
  • Contact phone to University, Institution or Company,
  • Please, indicate intended use,
  • Password,
  • Confirm Password.

 

After BIBLOS team receive information about user registration can approve or decline user. The rules about approve or decline user registration is restricted by ESA and ESA license.

User unregistration

User can delete unregister using delete account https://gmv-biblos.gmv.com/delete-account

Sending mails

All registered users can receive mail from BIBLOS team. This feature provides using administration panel send mail to many users.

To use Biblos SW is required to be compliance with ESA Community License Permissive.
