The BIBLOS Project is a series of activities (also refered to as the BIBLOS-x Project) focused on design, implementation and verification of an End-to-End Performance Simulator (E2ES) for Earth Observation missions. Each of these activities develops new instruments and improves previously implemented ones. However, all these activities are based on the ARCHEO-E2E Project
The rationale behind developing unified building blocks for E2E simulators is:
- Reduction in development time and overall cost of initial phases of missions
- Reduction of bugs in code
- Facilitation of sharing data between missions by using standardized formats for E2E performance simulators
Links below provide scope and results of subsequent projects:
- BIBLOS-2 (May 2016 – September 2019)
- BIBLOS(-1) (June 2014 – April 2016)
- ARCHEO-E2E (until April 2013)
